But better die than live mechanically a life that is a repetition of repetitions.

“But better die than live mechanically a life that is a repetition of repetitions.”

Repetition of the same thought or physical action develops into a habit which, repeated frequently enough, becomes an automatic reflex.

Be a man that does things in a routine way, not repeatedly.

Past: Routine & Repetition

Routing has nothing to do with repetition. To become really good at anything, you have to practice and repeat, repeat and practice. To work hard, and to give your best at a certain thing, until the technique becomes intuitive.

“The Past: Our cradle, not our prison; there is danger as well as appeal in its glamour. The past is for inspiration, not imitation, for continuation, not repetition.”

Learn from the past, don’t let it burn you and destroy you that weakly, give your best shot in anything that would block you way towards to success and to your goal. Don’t let the past memories hurt you, always take everything as a blessing, as a challenge that would make and mold you into a better person.

“The Ordinary Life: the misery seems planned, the happiness accidental.”

Learn from your past mistake, my friend.

Why do this feeling even occur? Gahhhh I hate it when she is always being surrounded by some guys. I know it’s unfair to think of something between us, when there’s no really the word “us”.

If only I could be with you all the times. All those times where you need someone to comfort you, and to have someone to cuddle you with.

If one is not for you, then it’s not for you. Don’t force him/her to be yours because in the end it would only lead to break-ups that would cause both of you to be sad and depressed. Image

“Frustrated because I can’t tell if it’s real. Mad because I don’t know how you feel. Upset because we can’t make it right. Sad because I need you day and night. Angry because you won’t take my hand. Aggravated because you don’t understand. Disappointed because we can’t be together, but still I’ll love you forever.” Love makes the world go around 🙂

The most important things are the hardest things to say. They are the things you get ashamed of because words diminish your feelings – words shrink things that seem timeless when they are in your head to no more than living size when they are brought out. -Stephen King

Love makes you do things that isn’t appropriate to your will, just to make someone special to you feel better.

Life is for having fun. Don’t be stupid and waste it on some guy/girl who is gonna act like he/she hates you tomorrow. Never waste it on some one who doesn’t want their friends to know they’re in love with you. Don’t give that person the rest of you tears or a month or a year of your life when he/she treats you badly and doesn’t mind to make you cry. Every person deserves some one who wants to brag about them. Every person deserves some one who makes them smile and laugh at their worst moments. We all deserve at least that.Image

Your way. Your life.

Learn how to change in your OWN ways.

ImageBeing dependent on others, makes me sick and I know some do too. I’m not saying to stand on your own feet early as now, but I think you should have the plans too. Of course everyone grows with the help of someone, with the help of your parents, guardians. The fact that all of us here on earth had been dependent too in some ways, maybe it could when you we’re just a kid, or maybe if you have problems and you need someone to comfort you right away. Those are just some ways of being dependent.

Why follow the way of others? The way on how they play with their lives, everyone has this own passion of his/her. But for you to know it, you must first know how to be independent, to learn to make your decisions for yourself, don’t be afraid if in case you’d be mistakenly choose the wrong choice, it doesn’t make you dumb person, but rather than makes you a better person that learned from the mistakes he/she have done.

Image Image Image

          Learn how to be alone.

It’s one of the best ways to know if your independentness is enough for you stand on your own. You choose your ways on how you want to live your life, on how you want to play with it. It’s not that your friends have told you that, they’ll be there in case you have problems? They will be there to support and comfort you. Every friend would tell that of course. But no one here on Earth knows on what’s going to happen next in the future. Who knows, you friend might just left you, and you’ll be there alone, will be craving for help because you don’t know how to be alone.

For those person, who would actually call you a “loner” don’t be silly getting affected easily by those temptations terms. It’s just that, it’s not in their environment, they haven’t felt being alone, and I’m pretty sure they’re afraid to have that kind of feeling. They’re jealous because they see someone, whom already could stand on their own feet. And deep inside they don’t know how.

In case no one will be there for you, are you independent enough to stand on your own?

The more you dream, the farther you get.

“Always dream and shoot higher than you know how to.
Don’t bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors.
Try to be better than yourself.”
-William Faulkner

Image How ’bout you will you too?

Everyone has a dream, a dream to conquer, a dream to be achieved.

Never let the little things destroy you that easy, destroy the future you’d build. They’l be a huge wall on your way to success, but everything’s up to you, if you would choose to get stuck in that place or just past it through.

“Dreams are today’s answers to tomorrow’s questions.” as said by Edgar Cayce

Don’t be afraid to start something, to discover something new, who knows, in no aspect, that certain thing could change you, your passion and on how you live your life with others.

Most of us, doesn’t have this courage you called ‘guts’. Everybody wants to be a better person in some ways but the problem is that no one wants to try. No one has the courage to make show of his talents and skills to others.

Never ever be afraid to be dumped. Everyone starts with nothing. And it’s on your determination on how you’ll work for it and on how you’ll achieve and grab your dreams.

‘Grab every opportunities that comes to you’.

The world never adjusts, it you whom would have to.

ImageSome wants to be a soccer player, basketball player, swimmer or even a baseball player. Even though what you do, everything has a LCD or also what you call the common denominator. In my opinion, it’s the sweat and hardworks that matters, on how hard you train as an athlete, on how hard you try to keep your family alive, and on how hard you knock the problems down as yourself.

Never give up on anything, there’s always a chance for you. You just have to wait and wait, and when the opportunity comes, be at your best and grab it like never others do.

SWEAT, DETERMINATION & HARD WORK is all what you need.

Never give up, just continue going and you’ll make it to the end! 😉

Broken Light: A Photography Collective

Photo taken by Jim, a man from Texas who has struggled with depression for much of his life.

About the photo:

Sometimes Struggles are exactly what we need in our life.
If we were to go through life without any obstacles,
It would cripple us.
We would not be as strong as we could have been
And we could never fly.
So next time you are faced with an obstacle,
A challenge, or a problem,
Struggle a little- then fly.

“I sat in the comfort of my rocking chair under cover from the heat. At first the noise distracted my escape of morning reading and meditation. But then I looked into all the racket, and found that the perfect image of struggle was across the street rather than in my own head.

We all have struggles. It is personal and as big or small as we make it…

No more regrets, life is too short for it.

No more regrets, life is too short for it

Do I even deserve what I have right Imagenow? What did I do to get these things? Am I blessed or maybe I’m just a lucky lottery boy. Well for everything that happens to me I thank God for everything, for every bad thing that happened to me, for the worse conflict I’ve ever faced. I thank God twice for it, it made me learn from the mistakes I’ve done, made me correct the wrong decisions I’ve committed and most of all it made and meld me into a better person on whom I am today. For the good things, I thank God and give all the glory into his name. For showing me the future, for letting me predict by using my own vision and perfectly made me into his will and likeness.

Decisions, it only has two main effects, whether it’s going to be good or bad.

Good side.

It’s always been better being here, being in this side, staying in this side. It gives you a better reputation, when it comes to public popularity. Common values are always unto you. You choose this side because you care for others, you care for the sake of everybody, not only to yourself but everyone in your society.        Image Image

  Bad side.

When you hear the word ‘bad’ first thing that comes to your mind is ‘evil’ it’s a devil opinion. Well if that’s the case, you better start thinking and changing your ways and opinions on how you’ve known some certain words. Bad isn’t really that bad. It doesn’t make you literally a worse person. But only decreases the way on how you look yourself. After you succeed in a wave of problems, what do you feel? You Feel good, you feel better. Because you know in yourself you’ve known and corrected the mistakes you’ve done, just think about it.

Always value everyone on your environment, especially those whom are really special to you, it could be your boyfriend, girlfriend, best friends or your family. But just remember to always take care of everything you have, take advantage being with them, always value the time you spend with them, and just simply enjoy being with them. Who knows, everybody could just passed away that easy, with just a snap from God, everything could change… Ask yourself, if ever these things would happen to you, are you ready?

Image I offer and dedicate this to my Grandpa’, for all the teachings you gave to me and to everybody. I salute to you Grandpa’! May you rest well out there in heavens.

Image  And to this special friend of mine, whom is always being knocked down by the problems in this wonderful life. Live well out there! I wish the best for you, my friend.

Oh god. I must try this! 🙂 HAHA

Dare Dreamer Magazine

This will mark the third year in a row I’ve decided to disconnect from technology and the Internet. It started in 2010 when I took a 4+ month sabbatical from social media in general. No blogging, Facebooking or Tweeting. Last year I took the month of August off.  I’m going to do it again this year for a few weeks. Aside from the preschedule blogs posts I’ve written (and their corresponding tweets), I’ll be pretty much offline.

There are three primary reasons why disconnecting from technology and the Internet (particularly social media) is good for you:

  1. It allows you to RE-connect with family and friends. (Real friends. You know. The kind you actually talk to and see on a regular basis in the physical world).
  2. It clears your mind and soul of the negativity that can build up from too much social media connection. That negativity…

The Missing Sock

This morning I had a doctor’s appointment.  While Peanut and I were in the waiting area, she pulled out a Highlights magazine.  (I used to love those magazines when I was a kid.)  Anyway, she gave it to me, and I was looking through it.  I saw an activity that I thought was really cute, and I suddenly had the urge to hit the “Like” button.

I froze.

“Seriously, you idiot!” I thought to myself, “you can’t ‘Like’ a picture in a magazine.”

So it got me thinking about what a huge influence technology and social media have on our lives.  I get that we need technology to function in the world today.  I appreciate it, and the conveniences it provides me, but when is it too much?  (Maybe when you want to ‘Like’ a picture in a magazine.)  But in all seriousness, I’m not on Facebook nearly as much…
